| | Congratulations to the Tangerines on a well deserved win, Dave's Blues team battled well and stopped us from playing football in the 1st half, which maybe allowed them to shade the 1st half, with the score at 1-1, James making a great save in the closing minutes of the half.
In the 2nd half, with a change of shape and mentality, the Tangerines had a goal wrongly called offside, but the boys continued with their ball retention and ground down the stuffy blues and thoughroughly deserved their 3-1 win, which couldve been more had other chances been taken late in the game.
The superiority was shown, not through the blues running out of puff, but teamwork, shape, technique and intelligence on the ball, and a composure to keep looking for the killer pass to find a goal, despite 2 important players going off injured, and players playing out of a regular position.
James the GK didnt touch the ball in the 2nd half, and never had a GK or corner to deal with, which showed the Tangerines dominance in a well deserved win.
Congratulations on the Blues makng it a great day for the club by having 2 teams in the final.
